Sew Over It Ava Skirt Pattern and Fabric Review with The Fabric Guys
THE PATTERN I have wanted to make a Sew Over It Ava Skirt for ages and when I saw this super pretty needlecord on the Fabric Guys website I knew it would be perfect for this pattern. I have a similar ready to wear skirt in corduroy and it’s just perfect for the autumn and winter months. I chose to make the mini version of this skirt without the pockets. 2019 Sewing Review and plans for 2020
At the end of December I made myself a list of everything I’d made in 2019 – I had made 40 garments. No point in doing things by half hey… 😉 Pattern: Sew Over It Pussy Bow Blouse I bought the pdf version and printed at home. Fabric: Lady McElroy Spray Bouquet Chiffon, kindly gifted…

Sew Over It Ultimate Shift Dress Review
Pattern: Sew Over It – Ultimate Shift Dress Fabric: Lightweight Rayon Challis – Bold Flowers & Stripes from 1st for Fabric I ordered 2.5 metres of this beautiful lightweight rayon challis from 1st for Fabrics because I absolutely love both stripes and florals at the moment and this fabric combined the two perfectly. The fabric arrived beautifully wrapped with a note from Julie which added a lovely personal touch. At the time of ordering I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to make from the fabric but I knew I wanted to make a dress from it and that 2.5 metres should easily cover that. I deliberated for a…
