Planning my sewing for 2025 | How I plan & what I want to sew this year…
How I like to plan my sewing… When it comes to planning for a new year of sewing, I like to look back on the previous year and think about what worked, what went well, what I enjoyed sewing and what has worked well in my wardrobe. I’ve already gone through this in rather a lot of detail in this video here and blog post here so I won’t go over that again but for me that’s a big part of the process in planning for the year ahead. I also find this kind of fun to do too. You can also watch my ‘video version’ of this blog post…

Reviewing my year in sewing | 2024 goals revisited, favourites, regrets & lessons learned…
Do you do an annual review of your sewing and making? Call me extra but this is something I absolutely love to do at the start of a new year. As a general rule of thumb I consider everything I made (sewing, knitting & crochet). I think about whether I enjoyed making those things and how I feel about them now I may have had some time to wear them. I also consider how they have fitted into my wardrobe and review any mistakes, failures or things that just didn’t work. I always feel as though reviewing the past year of sewing helps me to more intentionally plan my making…
