The idea… The Sagebrush Top by Friday Pattern Company has been on my ‘to make’ list for a little while now but with autumn and the colder months coming up I wondered how much wear I’d get out of it if I made it with the short, possibly cardigan unfriendly sleeve. Mira Dress by Fibre Mood – My Review…
I have been eyeing up the Mira dress by Fibre Mood pretty much since it came out. I absolutely love the boho style of this pattern, it has a touch of 70s style about it don’t you think? I stalked the pattern for a while on Instagram and adored the versions that other sewists were making so I knew it wouldn’t be long before I had to give it a go myself. 2019 Sewing Review and plans for 2020
At the end of December I made myself a list of everything I’d made in 2019 – I had made 40 garments. I couldn’t believe it, if you’d asked me to guess how many things I’d made I never would have guessed that many. This was a great little exercise to do though because it made me realise how far I’d come with my sewing, how many new techniques I’ve tried and conquered (even if through trial and error) and I’ve learned to be braver and better at sewing with a variety of different fabrics.
