What I’ve been sewing in March 2021 – Vlog description…

Hi everyone – welcome back to another Sew and Tell vlog. This blog accompanies my YouTube makes video and includes links to everything I talk about within the video. You can watch my March Makes YouTube video by clicking below.

The Jarrah Sweatshirt by Megan Nielson

I made my Jarrah Sweatshirt using a combination of the pattern variations with a beautiful wine and cream Ponte from Minerva. I’ve linked a similar fabric here because this particular fabric is now out of stock.

The Jolanda Blouse by Atelier Vicolo N. 6 at Makerist.com

I made a sleeveless version of the Jolanda Blouse by Atelier Vicolo N. 6 in collaboration with Makerist.com in this beautiful viscose fabric by Atelier Brunette.

The Sudley Blouse by Megan Nielson in Art Gallery Velvet Rayon

I made a top version of the Megan Nielson Sudley pattern in this beautiful Art Gallery rayon that will be stocked my Minerva later this year. I made mine in a beautiful Art Gallery Rayon linked here.

The Carolyn Pyjamas by Closet Core Patterns

I made the short version of the Carolyn Pyjamas by Closet Core Patterns in a gorgeous floral viscose from Abakhan Fabrics.

The Evelyn Dress from Simply Sewing Magazine

I made the Evelyn Dress free with Simply Sewing Magazine as part of the Frugal Frocks Challenge over on Instagram. I used this lovely tiger print viscose fabric from Abakhan Fabrics.

The Linden Sweatshirt by Grainline Studio

I made another Linden sweatshirt by Grainline Studio in this cosy melange sweatshirt fabric from Abakhan Fabrics. I used a green ribbing from Sewisfaction for the neck and waist bands and a coral ribbing from Minerva for the cuffs.

I hope you like what I’ve made this month. Feel free to leave me any questions or comments below or over on YouTube and don’t forget you can follow me over on Instagram @secret_life_of_a_seamstress for more pictures or my makes.
